Rob's three-day program works like this: On days one and two you eat...more food than you thought possible. On these two days, your body's fat is used as fuel and burned aggressively. Day three is a "load up" day that keeps your body from adjusting. You jumpstart your metabolism every time you repeat this three-day pattern. Your body's fat-burning ability is maximized for dramatic results! Rob Nevins Skinny Switch Secret

The "Secret" plan is practcally worthless. The only valuable information is that you 'trick' your metabolism into revving up - as you never eat the same way for more than 2 days and you eat smaller, healthy meals all day. Nearly any legitimate weight loss meal plan will tell you this now. A very good FREE plan is found here http://health.discovery.com/national-bo ... lenge.html from the Discovery channel. Also, I work at Curves, a womens gym. We have a good new member guide which has a good plan in it (based on revving your metabolism at first and forming healthy habits to eating normal sized healthy meals you can maintain for a lifetime. You eat 1200 calories for 1 week in "phase one", (be sure to eat small healthy meals/snacks about every 3 hrs - but only the total amount of calories in the "phase" that you are currently in), eat 1500 calories for 3 more weeks in "phase two", and then eat normally 2000-2500 calories for one more week in "phase three". If you begin to regain weight or still need to lose more weight begin with phase one again. If not, stay at phase three until you do. Best of luck.

Well for one, way to promote your job... Hey come to Curves... blah blah blah.. What you dont say is that on this plan, you eat the foods YOU like.. Not what someone else is putting for you. Like the prepackaged meals. For someone like me who doesn't eat vegetables or seafood that is a waist for me. But if Mr Nevins can come up with a diet plan for the foods I like and I lose weight that it will be all worth it. So besides promoting your place of employment you may want to look a little deeper into it..

Apparently the previous responders to your question have never really used the Skinny Switch Secret. I am currently on week 7 of this who new journey. All that SSS supplies is a meal plan that you chose and work with real food from the grocery store. I have lost 17.5 lbs and 9.5 inches in a little more than 6 complete weeks. I am not trying to sell you a darn thing. This program is not a diet it is a new lifestyle. It has taught me to eat better foods and I have learned so much about what fat is, trans fat, sat fat.. why sodium is bad and what a healthy range is. You get to eat two days and then treat the 3rd (there is an accelerated program for $2 more a week where it is eat for 3 and treat for one but I have not chosen that program) On your treat days you still follow the meal plan as it is set with higher amount of fat and less lean lowfat protein as the other two days and then for one meal you get to replace with a cheat food.. whatever you want to cheat with,, you dont get to eat whatever you want all day on treat day... Anyways I eat wonderful foods and the recipes are amazing... I mean for lunch today I just ate a turkey and reduced fat cheese sandwhich on whole wheat bread with 6 baby carrots and 1/2 cup mandarin oranges. I have also learned to incorporate an exercise routine into my new life. You can lose the weight without it by doing this plan I did for the 1st month, but now I want to get a little more tone! This is deinfinitely something to try if you are wanting to make a whole lifestyle change. If you are at that point where you are done being unhealthy then this is truly the best thing out there that I have found, because it is a new way of life not just some crash diet. I am learning to be healthy!!

So you're saying a good alternative is eating 1200 in the first week of your plan. Hmm... Isn't that called something else?... what's the word what's the word... oh yes.. starvation... I understand you work at a women's gym, but maybe you should consider finding healthy methods of weightloss

I don't see how you could eat all you want and not have health problems there.. Many of the foods shown in the commercial are high in cholesteral and otherwise unhealthy. I guess the question is do you wanna live a long healthy life or do you want to be skinny with health problems?

Actually Brian, a 1200 calorie diet is considered healthy for weight loss for MOST women (most MEN will have to up this a bit, talk to your doc or do a bit of research to see what numbers are recommended for you). Most doctors and nutritionists will tell you that (including my boyfriend and best friend from high school an MD and registered dietician respectively). I say "most" women because everyone's body and activity level is different. If you are active you should up your food intake accordingly. For example, I am very petite (4'10"/95 lbs), I don't need as much as a girl who is 5'10" and naturally of a medium build. Obviously, whatever your situation, if you are still feeling hungry all the time or experiencing symptoms of starvation your body is telling you you're doing something wrong. Listen to it! But make sure you learn the difference between being hungry and craving a favorite food. Yes, I occasionally really really want buffalo wings or BBQ chips, that doesn't necessarily mean I'm hungry. I don't deny myself that stuff all the time, but I don't eat it every time I want it either.

As everyone is different, the same weight loss plan WILL NOT work the same for everyone, despite what the infomercials tell you. The only thing that DOES work for everyone is exercise and eating a (mostly) healthy diet, and even that will have different results for everyone.

My only problem with what this plan seems to be advocating (I've never tried it, so I don't really know) is that it's not teaching you how to be healthy really if it's saying you can still avoid veggies and healthy foods (as guy implies), eat all the crap you want, and still lose weight. Yes, you may drop the lbs, but that doesn't necessarily mean you'll be healthier for it. Skinny people can have high blood pressure, cholesterol, and issues with nutritional deficiencies too! Oh also, exercise is good for you! No, you don't have to, but the benefits of working out even for 30 min, three times a week (take a few 10-15 min walks throughout the day) go far above and beyond just weight loss.

So you have never tried the diet? You are speaking of things you saw in a commercial? You can't judge a book by it's cover. For one thing, almost every unhealthy meal, has a healthy alternative. I am a 5' 10½" female and the SSS "diet" gives me close to 2000 calories. per day. My biggest problem was trying to eat everything on my plan. The meals are taylored to the individuals. I have paid over 250 dollars per month for prepackaged meals and with the sss special offer it is only about 12 dollars per month. I only eat what I want. and had my first Thanksgiving without worrying about my weight. I will not be freely giving away the information I spent good money to get. Though it is so minimal. The return on this investment is great. Not to mention all the wonderful support you have online, by phone, or by e-mail. If you were considering a diet. Don't reject one based on things said by people who had not even tried the product. My weight is down, my blood pressure, and cholesterol are all on the lower end of a safe range. I even know of someone who no longer needs insulin meds for diabetes.

Somehow your company obtained my personal information and are now charging my bank account $38.38 a month for your plan. I never received any e-mail or post office mail concerning your company. If this is not stopped I will change my account information and that will stop any automatic deductions. My bank will be getting in touch with you. I talked with a representative of your company last week, who, by the way, was SO RUDE, not offering help. I do not believe that a company like yours would take such a position as this. I am a retired widow with a limited income and would never order something like this. Apparently, when your company can pick up information without permission, they take a I do not care attitude and refuse to do anything about it.
